Insanity at it's Finest on this Huayra BC Ride

It all began at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum member’s party in 2014. I was outside, capturing images of the museum, when I noticed a crowd gathered around an Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione, its engine roaring as someone revved it up. The sound was simply spectacular! The deep growl of the engine was unlike anything else I'd heard in production cars at that time.

Intrigued, I approached with my camera and had the pleasure of meeting Greg, the owner of the stunning Alfa 8C. We chatted for a while, and to my surprise, he invited me to MIT where he kept his prized car. From there, our early morning adventure through Boston began.

Inspired by the moment, I suggested we capture a photo of the Alfa beneath the Zakim Bridge. Despite having to sneak into a dog park for the perfect shot, it turned out to be a fantastic day filled with memorable moments. The photos we captured under the bridge were truly remarkable.

Over the years, I've kept up with Greg's adventures through his Instagram feed. His life seems like a dream come true for any car enthusiast, as he jet-sets across the globe, experiencing the thrill of the open road in some of the rarest modern Hyper and Supercars imaginable. His passion for cars and his remarkable collection have left me and the world in awe.

Through his posts, I've noticed that green and orange seems to be his favorite color choice for his collection. While many may envy his lifestyle, I find it inspiring—a testament to living life to the fullest.

With an array of exotic cars at his disposal, Greg doesn't hold back; he loves pushing the limits, never easing off the gas pedal. I vividly recall photographing his Pagani, fitted with snow tires, only to see him tearing up the snow-covered streets the following week, practically doing donuts with ease. It's truly remarkable how he can drive these multi-million-dollar machines with such gusto, showcasing their power and agility without reservation.

The adventure that left me awe-struck began when I saw Greg's posting of his Huayra BC in Boston. Knowing I was heading to Florida in a week, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to catch up with him before my winter trip. Though I had sat in a few Huayras before, I had never experienced the thrill of a ride in one.

Eagerly, I reached out to Greg to see if I could join him for a ride. To my delight, he responded, and I found myself holding on for dear life as we sped through the winding back roads of Lexington. As any photographer understands, finding the right locations for shoots can be challenging. Amidst our drive, we stumbled upon a spot that, with the right angles, had the potential for some incredible shots.

I can't express my gratitude enough to Greg for not only giving me the ride of a lifetime but also for sharing the photos I took on his Instagram page. It's moments like these that remind me of the value of meeting new people who can lend a helping hand along the way.
